One alumni programme across every campus in the group.
Multi-campus groups, Christian school networks and independent school associations end up with one campus running a brilliant alumni programme and the rest running none. LegacyLink gives each campus its own branded space and isolated data, with a group-level view of engagement, giving and bursary impact.
What usually goes wrong
One campus has a full-time alumni officer; three have a spreadsheet. The group has no comparable view of either.
Board packs are assembled by emailing each campus for numbers that were counted differently in the first place.
Group-level bursary funds are hard to attribute back to the campus and the donor who funded them.
How school networks use LegacyLink
Each school keeps its own crest, colours, programme name and voice. Old scholars never see a generic group brand.
Row-level tenant isolation means one campus can never see another's alumni records, while group roles see aggregate reporting.
Verified alumni, activation, giving, sponsorship and bursary pool per campus, on one screen, counted the same way.
Ring-fence a percentage of every contribution and attribute it to the correct campus fund on every receipt.
Optionally open the mentor pool across the group so a small campus draws on the whole network's professionals.
Configure once at group level, then let each campus Champion run their own broadcasts and events within approved templates.
What you should expect
- Every campus running a real programme, not just the biggest one
- Comparable engagement and giving metrics across the group
- Bursary impact attributable to campus and donor
- Faster rollout per campus after the first deployment
- Group-level compliance posture — POPIA, GDPR, FERPA as applicable
- One commercial agreement instead of one per school
A group of eight schools has eight alumni networks and usually one alumni programme. The gap between those two numbers is the opportunity.
Questions we get asked
- Can campuses be added one at a time?
- Yes, and that is the usual pattern: pilot on one campus, prove the engagement report, then roll out. Each additional campus deploys faster because the group configuration already exists.
- Can a campus keep its own domain?
- Yes. Custom sub-domains per campus are supported, so old scholars land on their own school's address.
- How is a group priced?
- Groups are banded on total alumni across all campuses on the flat annual licence, or on the earned-tier revenue-share model with a single group agreement. Multi-campus groups are always quoted individually.
- Does the group see individual alumni records?
- No. Group roles see aggregate metrics only. Individual alumni records stay isolated to the campus that owns the relationship.
